Harbor of Bodø • Norway
This photo is from my English Norway calendar.
Bodø is the northern most point on the Norwegian mainland, that I reached during my Scandinavian Adventure. The morning I took this photo we left Bodø on the ferry toward Moskeness to continue our bike adventure on the Lofoten archipelago.
Bodø is also the northernmost city of Norway connected to the Norwegian railway system. The only other Norwegian town further north that can be reached by train is Narvik, but it only connects to the Swedish railway system.
Since the Swedish railway was somewhat reluctant to take us on with our bikes, we returned to Bodø after our Lofoten visit to get on the train down south again.
If you’d like to read more about that experience, you are in the right place 🙂 Just enjoy the story of my travels here: here.

I’d love to hear from you how you like those stories/photos in the comments.
